During a festive ceremony, the first gas station of its kind was inaugurated in the municipality of Timoulayt, in the Azilal region, this Thursday, January 25th, bearing the name PETRO BIG, owned by its proprietor Faqir Sefiane. The station is located on the road connecting Timoulayt and Oulad M’barek, approximately two kilometers from the center of the municipality, and consists of a gas station, a café, a car wash, a banquet hall, and a swimming pool. In the first phase, the gas station will operate while waiting for the completion of the other facilities.

Following the inauguration of this project, a sense of relief spread among the local population, who welcomed it enthusiastically, especially car, truck, and motorcycle owners who were previously forced to travel over 16 kilometers to refuel. Furthermore, the project has created 10 jobs in the initial phase, thereby contributing to enhancing security in the region due to its presence in a previously underserved area.

At this ceremony, the chief of the Afourar district, the commander of the Afourar region, the chief of the Bani Ayaat region, the presidents of the municipal councils of Timoulayt, Ait Ouarghi, as well as the vice-president of the Afourar municipality, attended, along with several elected officials and officials from external services. Friends and acquaintances of the station owner, as well as members of the local community, were also present.
